Do the REPOH

I truly believe that you choose how you want to live your life. It’s all about your habits, your values, your choices, your beliefs and your actions.

Do you want to be in charge of your own life? Of course you do !!
Do you want to have success in your life? Of course you do !!

I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone that didn’t want success or control over their own life!

So why is it that some people are better at it than others??

BECAUSE they have more ” WHY TO’s than WHY NOT TO’s

They perceive that there are more benefits of doing the things they want to do (another word for Why-To’s is Benefit)than costs of doing so (another word for Why-Not-To’s is Cost).

Your mind is like an infinite weighing machine—every moment, your mind is weighing your perceived benefit against your perceived cost of doing any behavior or activity you can think of. Do you see that every decision you make is built upon your Why-To’s and Why-Not-To’s?

To be in charge of your own life, to become successful, you need to adopt LEADERSHIP as your LIFESTYLE. You need to have more Why-To’s than Why-Not-To’s and one of the best way’s to create more Why-To’s is to REPOH

E asy
P leasure
O ften
H abit

Because through REPETITION it becomes EASY. If it’s easy it is a PLEASURE. Then you’ll do it OFTEN, and that’s how it becomes a HABIT.

= REPOH!!

Where is the LOVE ??

Saturday my children and I was on our way to the Hospital to see my dear friends newborn twingirls.
We stopped at the local shop to buy groceries and on the way out I slipped in something as silly as a cauliflower leave, someone accidentally dropped and I fell over in the parking lot :-)

I’m sure it look really funny but one thing is sure it hurt like hell. As I was trying to save the bottles in the bag I hurt my hand and knee. I tell you I was down on the road for a long time because I tried to stay as calm as possible and handle the pain because I didn’t wanted to scare my children, that naturally were nervous.

When I finally got up, I saw several people in the parking lot filling gas on their cars but none felt the need to help me at all.
I know I can’t expect people to act like I would have. I’m just wondering how it got that far that we have enough in our own lives?

Then when I look at the terrible friday in Norway, I wonder even more.

Are we really that occupied living our own ego driven lives, that we forget about all other people?
Are we so busy that we just mind our own business?

Where is the LOVE for your neighbor?

My suggestion is that you do something to day to help and support another person,- or just give them a smile.

8 Pillars of Vitality

Wiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeee just been attending the National Achievers Congress in London. An amazing experience with fantastic speakers talking about how to succeed in business and life.
Like to share Joseph Mc.Clendons 8 pillars of Vitality. I believe they are the fundament for you to be able to create more success in your life. The explanations are my way of seeing the 8 pillars :-)

1. Air we breath = remember to breath deeply. Set an alarm every hour, stop what ever you’re doing and take ten deep breath.. Make it a habit to breath deeply all the time. It gives you a lot more energy.

2. Water we drink = at least 8 glasses of water every day.

3. Food we eat = eat healthy and avoid pre prepared. Eat vegetables, fish, fruit, chicken and keep away for over eating.

4. Thoughts we think = thoughts = feelings = actions= results. If you don’t have the results in your life you want you MUST change your thoughts, your beliefs= your blueprint

5. Words we speak = Use supportive words and speak nicely to yourself and others.

6. Moves we make. = It’s all about your state. If you’re down try and jump up and lift your head, your energy instantly change. Shout YES or celebrate yourself, dance around, sing. I promise you, your energy will change.

7. Things we seek. = Use your focus to support you, look for the things you want and not the things you want to avoid. Every time you focus on the things you don’t want, you get more of it. Think of all the things you do want.

8. Sleep we take. = If you do all the other 7 steps you will have more hours in your day because then you don’t need to sleep 8 to 10 hours and still wake up tired. Make sure you get some proper sleep

What ever it takes to get some SUN

My very close and dear friend through 25 year visit me the other day and told me this funny little story. Her and her husband was driving on the main road while suddenly they saw a woman sitting in front of her house in a bikini trying to get a tan.
They laught because they found it so funny that she, not only, got the thought of sitting in front of her house right beside the main road to have some sun but also because she did it in a bikini :-)

Well I think that woman is very courages and that’s my point of telling you this little story. My guess is she didn’t care what others might think about her because she was determined to get some sun. She was willing to do what ever it took to get that tan. She found a way and you can do so too.

Maybe you’re not interested in having your tan in the middle of the street – this is just an example of a courages woman. Maybe it’s something else you want to do but don’t do because you fear others judgment. Your concerned about what they might think of you!

My suggestion to YOU is DO IT ANYWAY, DO IT INSPITE OF YOUR FEAR, DO IT INSPITE OF WHAT THEY MIGHT THINK. Do what ever it takes to achieve your goal because courage is when you act inspite of your fear. And by the end of the day all that matters is how you feel about yourself and what you think about yourself

The laughing heart

Inspired by this amazing poem I took a stand 10 years ago. I would live my life half dead, or constantly negative. I decided to step out of my comfort zone, and have been every day ever since, I wanted to see the light, the possibilities, the opportunities and all the amazing and great things life had to offer me.

What ever it takes and now soaking wet!!

Just got home from a wonderful weekend trip with my children and my garden looked like a jungle! I’m not very much home next week so had to cut the grass. At that point the sun was shining but to be honest it looked like the rain was coming very soon. My children and I bought a giant freesbee and my sweet daugther wanted to play with it, so I said yes, well aware I still had to cut the grass before the rain came.

Finished 1/3 of the lawn it started raining and I don’t know about you, and to be fair I really don’t like gardening and especially not in the rain so it would have been so easy for me to just stop, to tell myself it would be better to go inside, that it could wait, but I didn’t. I continued until I finished and I was soaking wet.

you know why?

My philosophy is to do what ever it takes to achieve the results I want. Even if it’s uncomfortable, I continue. Even when it’s tough I continue and even when it feels better to just give up, I continue
